Stracciatella Frozen Yoghurt
This delicious – slightly-better-for-you version of Italian Stracciatella came up on a post from The Doctor’s Kitchen – and I had to try it straight away. A few ingredients to create a creamy, sweet, probiotic rich treat which melts in your mouth.
Ingredients
Serves 8
500g full fat Greek Yoghurt
200g condensed milk
50g dark chocolate (80%) roughly chopped
Method
- Gather and prepare your ingredients
- Mix together the Greek yoghurt and condensed milk. Place into the freezer until partially frozen, about 2 hours.
- Melt the chocolate in a bowl suspended over a pan of simmering water/or in the microwave.
- While continuously stirring, slowly drizzle the melted chocolate in a thin stream into your thickened, but not yet frozen yoghurt mixture.
- As the chocolate sets, keep stirring to break it into fine shards and flecks throughout the mixture.
- Pour into a container, smooth over the top and cover.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
- Enjoy!
